About the Role
The Guinness Partnership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Safe Neighbourhoods and Support Service as a Field-Based Anti-Social Behaviour and Community Safety Officer. This is a full-time, permanent position that will involve managing and investigating Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases in hotspot areas across the North West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and investigate ASB cases in hotspot areas, working closely with local police, local authorities, and other agencies to deliver prevention projects.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and reduce ASB, prioritizing the safety and well-being of customers and communities.
- Provide high-level customer service, working with customers to resolve complex ASB cases and providing mediation services to reduce conflict between neighbours.
- Collaborate with the ASB & Legal Officers to attend regional courts for initial hearings and provide court representation for lower-level legal work.
- Identify and escalate vulnerability to the Safeguarding Team, ensuring the safety and well-being of customers.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, external agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective use of available tools and powers to address ASB.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives, working with other team members to innovate and deliver right-first-time services.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation and current best practice in ASB prevention and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and achieving positive outcomes.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
