Location: Primary School in the North West

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the North West. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour and a relevant teaching assistant qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour in a primary school setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Previous experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
