HR Advisor

We are seeking a highly organized and competent HR Advisor to join our fast-paced Human Resources Team in Plymouth. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing generalist advice throughout the employee lifecycle, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance, and absence management.
Key Responsibilities- Support Line Managers in all matters relating to HR, including terms and conditions, absence, and flexible working requests.
- Provide support during the TUPE process following acquisitions.
- Maintain the integrity of the HR employee online database, ensuring clear audit trails and all records are in accordance with GDPR.
- Support employee well-being, including carrying out well-being at work assessments and advising on available support.
- Arrange and support disciplinary and grievance hearings, producing correspondence using standardized business formats.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Advisory role.
- A relevant degree or CIPD qualification, or a commitment to work towards gaining CIPD qualification.
- A sound understanding of good HR practice and some knowledge of employment law, including TUPE.
- Confident working with the latest technology and able to use it intuitively.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and challenge with tact and diplomacy.
- A creative and analytical thinking style, applying tenacity in the face of obstacles.
- A high level of personal integrity, demonstrated by displaying respect and empathy for others and being consistent, open, and honest.
