Job Summary- Design, engineer, document, and administer projects for the Acoustics, Theatre Planning, and Audio Visual discipline.
- Conduct engineering investigations, feasibility studies, preliminary designs, cost estimations, and detailed designs.
- Prepare associated reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Attend meetings with clients and architects to discuss project details.
- Provide input into and prepare drawings by detailers and conduct engineering reviews of the drawings.
- Undertake various modelling tasks using industry software, instrumentation, and specific tools.
- Conduct measurements and analysis of room acoustics, theatre planning, and audio-visual systems.
- Attend and undertake site/factory/mock-up test inspections and produce detailed reports.
- Provide input to the technical library by way of project sheets.
- Acoustics degree (masters or bachelor in acoustics engineering).
- Strong understanding of local and global building codes, standards, and legislative requirements.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
