Role Responsibilities

As a Lifting Operations Supervisor, you will be instrumental in directing and overseeing lifting activities with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and directing lifting operations in line with Method Statements.
  • Interpreting Risk Assessments and related documentation.
  • Providing clear guidance to the lifting team.
  • Evaluating and pausing operations when necessary, in consultation with the Appointed Person.
  • Complying with BS7121 parts 1 and 3 standards.
  • Actively seeking opportunities for operational enhancements.
Qualifications and Expertise
  • Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
  • Previous experience in Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person roles.
  • Ability to develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Strong understanding of BS7121 parts 1 & 3.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Confident decision-maker capable of challenging senior personnel when required.
