About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Supervisor to join our team at Ainscough Crane Hire in Aberdeen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising lifting operations with a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise lifting operations in accordance with Method Statements.
  • Interpret Risk Assessments and associated drawings.
  • Provide clear instructions to the lift team.
  • Assess and halt operations if necessary, referring to the Appointed Person.
  • Adhere to BS7121 parts 1 and 3 standards.
  • Continuously seek improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
  • Previous experience in Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person roles.
  • Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Strong knowledge of BS7121 parts 1 & 3.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Confident decision-maker with the ability to challenge senior staff when necessary.
