About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Mego Employment. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your team daily, ensuring efficient and consistent production that meets our high-quality standards.
  2. Performance Management: Achieve departmental targets and key performance indicator milestones, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and team performance.
  3. Team Development: Support and document training, develop team members, and promote a collaborative and problem-solving culture.
  4. Planning & Scheduling: Work closely with the Production Manager for effective planning, scheduling, and progress feedback.
  5. Leading by Example: Demonstrate company values through active leadership, coaching your team to adopt the right mindset and behaviours.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and drive continuous improvements within the unit and across the business.
Requirements
  1. At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Proven people management skills.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office.
  4. Understanding of Lean manufacturing.
  5. Adaptability, time management, problem-solving, and team development skills.
  6. Excellent communication, emotional control, ability to evaluate and address skill gaps, strategic planning, and decisiveness.
