About the Role

Adecco is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our team in a 12-month fixed-term contract position. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models of existing products and components, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer of CAD/CNC programme data from existing media to new media, verifying that transferred programmes match drawing specifications.
  • Produce daily run programmes for CNC machines, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Review and update bills of material against actual production, correcting and rewriting as necessary.
  • Update BOMs on the ERP system and/or vault, maintaining accurate records.
  • Check and update production routings on the ERP system, ensuring seamless production flows.
  • Verify CAD drawings against actual production parts, logging and addressing discrepancies as advised by senior management.
  • Perform tasks necessary for smooth factory or company operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of NVQ level 2 in engineering.
  • Awareness of general manufacturing techniques and methods.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D modelling CAD.

Salary

£30,000 per annum
