About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team of Health and Wellbeing Activators in North Lincolnshire.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering health, fitness, sport, and physical activity opportunities to improve the health and wellbeing of adults and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver innovative programmes of health, fitness, sport, and physical activity
  • Work with our Health and Fitness Assistants to provide mentorship and support
  • Conduct building and equipment checks, and act as a keyholder at some of our smaller sites
  • Hold an accredited Level 2 exercise qualification or a Level 2 National Governing Body of Sport Qualification
Requirements
  • Experience in planning, coaching, leading, and facilitating health, fitness, sport, and physical activity programmes
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the benefits of sport and physical activity in improving health, mental wellbeing, and public health outcomes
  • Understanding of social prescribing and knowledge of changing behaviour practice
  • Physical fitness and ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of an ever-evolving health and fitness programme
