Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Collaborating with the CEO to formulate and implement strategic initiatives.

Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions:

  • Preparing the organization for a streamlined diligence process and coordinating the exit with the management team.
  • Managing interactions with advisors and investors.

Growth Strategy Oversight:

  • Guiding the organization through various growth phases.
  • Utilizing investment appraisal expertise to optimize the allocation of growth capital.
  • Establishing a decision-making framework for internal capital distribution and prioritization.

Required Qualifications:

Financial Transformation Leadership:

  • Directed comprehensive financial transformation initiatives, encompassing personnel, processes, and reporting.
  • Led offshoring projects and implemented new systems throughout the value chain.
  • Enhanced financial KPIs, including month-end closing/reporting timelines and departmental productivity.

Cost Management Expertise:

  • Skilled in leading cost transformation and reduction initiatives.
  • Conducted benchmarking and assessed metrics on a function-by-function basis.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Effectively managed the organization's cash position through accurate forecasting and budget formulation.
  • Identified strategies for managing liquidity and executed working capital improvement initiatives.

Management Reporting Enhancement:

  • Refined management reporting and planning processes, establishing business-specific KPIs.
  • Developed and implemented systems, including Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tools and integrated budgeting/planning models.
  • Created relevant KPIs for business planning, forecasting, and monitoring.

Technical and Financial Accounting:

  • Exhibited expertise in technical accounting and controls, particularly in IFRS revenue recognition.
  • Managed audit relationships to ensure efficient and clean audits.

Mergers & Acquisitions:
