About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated physiotherapist to work alongside our well-established, experienced respiratory physiotherapy team who will provide ongoing support and guidance.

Main Responsibilities

The role will involve training parents, family members, carers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory management plans, including chest physiotherapy techniques, positioning, and suction. You will also be responsible for developing an online training program with established training materials, with support and guidance from the team.

Key Duties

  • Assessing and treating respiratory inpatients and outpatients, including those with recurrent chest infections, long-term conditions such as cystic fibrosis/bronchiectasis, and patients with multiple and complex care needs cerebral palsy.
  • Developing and delivering training programs for parents, family members, carers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory management plans.
  • Working closely with the respiratory physiotherapy team to provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Responsibility for a therapy student.
