Job Summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Oncology. This is a fixed-term position covering maternity leave until November 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership in the field of oncology, assessing and treating a caseload of low to highly complex oncology patients.
  • Support junior staff members in treating oncology patients and contribute to the development of the Physiotherapy service to meet the needs of oncology patients.
  • Work closely with the Physiotherapy Team Leader to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and optimize care for patients.
  • Support the Physiotherapy service to maintain its commitment to excellence and work with academic and healthcare partners to improve care, treatment, and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Physiotherapist in oncology or a related field.
  • Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality services and optimizing care for patients.

Working Environment

The successful candidate will join a supportive and innovative team working in a hospital-based environment. The role will involve working with a diverse caseload, including rehabilitation, respiratory, neurology, and palliative care.
