Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AWE. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability and reliability of our essential plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure relevant asset-related data is captured, accurate, and configured within the Asset Platforms to enable operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making.
  • Extract data and prepare reports to support asset performance analysis.
  • Identify critical spare requirements to support the availability of key assets and identify obsolescence risk.
  • Lead Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) workshops and provide technical input to ensure key asset failures and consequences are identified and mitigation actions recommended.
  • Ensure stakeholder communities are provided with asset performance and project delivery status information as appropriate.
  • Support root cause analysis for complex plant and equipment performance issues.
Requirements:
  • ONC/HNC in Engineering Discipline or building discipline or suitable experience gained in an engineering or building environment.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management, Facilitation, and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge/experience of ISO55000 and previous knowledge of working with EAM systems (Infor, SAP, Maximo etc) is desirable but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel especially).
  • Experience of reading and understanding technical information and/or have experience in working with Asset Information and Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
