ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant within a private mental health facility, your role will be pivotal in providing essential support that enhances the comprehensive care our clients' patients require. You will collaborate closely with the Occupational Therapist to assist patients in navigating the challenges they face in their everyday tasks. Your responsibilities will encompass the planning, execution, and assessment of both group and individual treatment programs tailored for patients.
Your commitment will be crucial in promoting or sustaining the physical abilities and autonomy of each patient you engage with, while also documenting interactions and observations as necessary. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will significantly impact our clients' patients' daily experiences by aiding them in reclaiming their independence.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
To qualify for the Occupational Therapist Assistant position, you should possess a Level 2 NVQ in a relevant field related to care or promoting independence, with a willingness to pursue a Level 3 NVQ or Level 2 QCF in Healthcare during your tenure. We seek an enthusiastic and empathetic individual with prior experience in a care or customer service setting.
