Lead Installation Engineer

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Lead Installation Engineer to join our Technical Consulting Division, focusing on subsea projects. This role will be based in our Staines office, with hybrid working available. We are open to applications throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement installation methodologies and analysis for subsea pipelines and facilities.
  • Collaborate with project management and clients to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  • Utilize industry-standard software, such as OrcaFlex, to model installation of subsea pipelines and facilities.
  • Write coherent reports and provide technical expertise to support project delivery.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree qualification.
  • Previous experience in installation engineering of subsea pipelines and facilities.
  • Knowledge of offshore and subsea construction operations, including risk assessment and management.
  • Familiarity with marine operations, vessel motions, and offshore lifting operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
