Job SummaryThe Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed product knowledge, understanding technical specifications, and identifying customer requirements. They will research and identify potential clients, contact prospective customers, and present products in a convincing and persuasive manner.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to technical sales enquiries for materials, machinery, and conformal coating.
- Organise and attend client visits, building relationships and securing ongoing contracts.
- Manage web-based client orders and convert one-off purchases into long-term accounts.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and support daily sales operations.
- Maintain CRM records and provide post-sales support.
- Attend sales meetings, trade exhibitions, and deliver monthly presentations.
- Assist in the continuous development of Chiltern Connections Ltd and support other departments as needed.
- Foundation degree or equivalent in engineering, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Competitive salary dependent on experience.
