Job Description:
We are proud to be working with a leading research institution in London on the hunt for a Licensed Animal Technician to join their expanding team.
As a Licensed Animal Technician, you will join a motivated team of Scientists and Animal Technicians to improve the understanding of cancer biology.
To carry out procedures under the authority of the relevant Home Office personal and project:
- Ensure adequate provision of food and water
- Skills for handling preclinical research mice models
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct animal care and welfare procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment
• Collaborate with Scientists and Animal Technicians to achieve research goals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. animal science, biology, veterinary medicine)
• Experience working with animals in a research setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
