Oxford University Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Staff Nurse to join our Neurosciences Intensive Care team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, underpinned by evidence-based practice and the values of Oxford University Hospitals.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Manage and direct the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Maintain and develop high standards of nursing practice, reflecting the Oxford Model for Exemplary Professional Nursing and Midwifery Practice.
- Contribute to the development of the team, including mentoring and supporting colleagues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Work proactively to ensure every hospital visit meets the needs of the patient, and that patients are discharged in a timely manner.
