Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Role Overview:
Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about fostering an inclusive educational environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support for SEN Students:
Collaborate with students with diverse learning needs, providing personalized assistance to enhance their educational experience. - Classroom Support:
Aid teachers in creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring all students can thrive. - Individualized Assistance:
Offer tailored support to both individual students and small groups, helping them reach their academic objectives. - Behavioural Support:
Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and a conducive learning environment. - Monitoring Progress:
Track and document student progress, providing valuable insights to educators and participating in discussions with parents as necessary. - Team Collaboration:
Work alongside teachers, SEN coordinators, and other educational staff to develop and execute effective support plans.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a degree in Psychology, Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline. A genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to supporting children with varying learning needs are essential. Previous experience in educational settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
