Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the classroom teacher in providing individualized support to pupils with Autism.
  2. Assist in planning and implementing activities that cater to the needs of pupils with Autism.
  3. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  4. Provide one-on-one support to children with Autism, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  5. Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with Autism.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Previous experience working within a classroom as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant.
  3. Knowledge: Understanding of Autism and supporting pupils accordingly.
  4. Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting.
