Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a series of new and existing customers to provide a high-quality composite parts service, ensuring a sustainable level of profit for the company. This role requires a practical and innovative approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Take ownership of commercial responsibilities, including estimating and budgeting.
- Develop innovative manufacturing solutions for composite parts, improving efficiency and quality.
- Design and develop tools as required, ensuring optimal production processes.
- Manage the input of new items into the company's Progress system, maintaining accurate Bills of Materials and ensuring timely delivery notes.
- Establish clear project requirements with customers, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Prepare Engineering Management plans, including estimates for schedule and resource requirements.
- Source and procure materials in a timely manner, either directly or through delegation.
- Modify layup books and sign-off sheets as necessary, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with the quality team to implement best practices and ensure high-quality products.
Working Hours: 8.00 – 5.00 Mon – Thurs / Fri 8.00 – 2.00. Salary: Up to £40,000. Security clearance is required for this role.
