Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Subsea Engineering Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading teams to deliver subsea engineering projects, analyzing subsea pipelines and cables, and working with our proposal and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead teams to deliver subsea engineering projects on behalf of our clients, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Analysis and Design: Conduct thorough analysis of subsea pipelines and cables in various load conditions, and design innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Proposal and Project Development: Collaborate with our proposal and project teams to develop and deliver high-quality project proposals and outcomes.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital design tools and processes.
- Education: BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Comprehensive experience in subsea and pipeline design, including field development, and demonstrable experience in subsea engineering design.
- Skills: Strong project management and controls skills, with experience in delivering integrity management support and investigation of life extension services.
- Offshore Experience: Offshore experience and certification are advantageous but not essential.
