Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Subsea & Pipelines Consultant Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our subsea engineering team, you will be responsible for leading projects, designing subsea systems, and analyzing pipelines and cables in various load conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to deliver subsea engineering projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and value for our clients.
  • Design subsea systems, adhering to applicable codes and standards.
  • Analyze subsea pipelines and cables in various load conditions, providing critical insights for project success.
  • Work collaboratively with proposal and project teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Evaluate, organize, and prioritize workloads, providing regular feedback to the team.
  • Manage the delivery of scopes for client deliverables, including design calculations, analysis models, specifications, study reports, and presentations.
  • Mentor the development of junior subsea engineers, promoting their growth and professional development.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital design tools, enhancing our engineering capabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 8 years of related industry experience.
  • A BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Chartered Status or working towards attainment.
  • Demonstrable experience in subsea and pipeline design, including field development.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with FEA tools like OrcaFlex and/or Abaqus.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a strong attention to detail and delivery.
  • Experience in project management and controls.
  • Offshore experience and certification are advantageous but not essential.
