In this unique role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP) initiatives, collaborating with various departments to ensure that the Estimate At Completion is consistently updated, accurately reflecting anticipated costs and potential savings.Your daily responsibilities will include assisting the Transformation team in preparing benefit documentation and comprehending the underlying assumptions that drive the outcomes, while also aiding the Head of Finance in maintaining current financial records:


Collaborate with department heads to enhance reporting and financial oversight of critical contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Assist the Head of Finance in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations and resources.

Establish a comprehensive reporting framework with delivery teams to assess contract performance and review against projected outcomes.

Promote a broader understanding of key performance indicators across the organization as part of the regular reporting cycle to facilitate informed business decisions.

Forge strong strategic relationships with department heads to ensure operational enhancements and business-as-usual activities meet organizational objectives.

This full-time role requires a commitment of 37 hours per week, with regular travel to the site as needed, alongside flexible working arrangements.


Agile working options may be available, adhering to principles of fairness and consistency while meeting essential business needs.

We are open to considering flexible, blended working arrangements, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing.

Essential Qualifications for the Financial Strategy Partner:
Proficient in intricate financial procedures and processes, with a talent for simplifying complexities.
Operational insight is beneficial, but the key requirement is the ability to connect finance with broader business objectives.
Ideally, candidates will have a background in project accounting and experience within the construction sector.

Required Credentials for the Financial Strategy Partner:


Candidates must possess or be pursuing a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or an equivalent qualification.
