**Store location**
The store is a destination location placed on the main street opposite the train station giving it high visibility and football. The area itself is an affluent seaside town with the picturesque Highlands and Loch Lomond on its doorstep. The store is proud of its established roots in the local community and continues to see growing customer numbers with more new housing and industry bringing in more families to the area.
The Helensburgh store has 2 optical test rooms with space for future expansion and is also able to offer hearcare spoke services. The current Director has almost 3 decades working as an IP Optometrist and 20 years’ experience as a successful business owner within Specsavers. The store has an experienced Manager, retail team and resident clinicians in situ. A new Director in this store would be a passionate and autonomous person with the desire to drive the business through innovation and being present in the test room and as a commercial leader.
**Requirements of the role**
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion, and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Optometry Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
The right person for this position will possess a strong work ethic, drive and a willingness to succeed. You will be a hands-on partner who understands the need to balance consistent time in the test room with your director and leadership responsibilities. You’ll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You’ll be willing to go the extra mile for customers and someone who encourages their team to do the same.
