We are pleased to present a unique opportunity for a Marine Project Coordinator to join our esteemed client.

As the Marine Project Coordinator, you will hold full responsibility for ensuring the marine program is executed as planned and agreed upon at the project's inception. You will serve as the primary liaison with the General Project Management team and the Project Finance Controller regarding all aspects of marine and terrestrial cable installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and effectively communicate the marine installation schedule to all relevant stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of marine subcontractors from Statement of Work to execution.
  • Validate all costs associated with marine and land installations.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Prepare and supervise the implementation of marine operations and installations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office, Marine Operations, and Industrial Operations to ensure adherence to the loading and laying plan.
  • Manage marine and land cable installation activities in accordance with the global marine program outlined in the contract, including Cable Route Studies, Land and Marine Route Surveys, and all related marine installation tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed cable loading timelines and propose mitigation strategies for any challenges encountered during project execution.
  • Select optimal vessels for the project to meet and enhance contracted milestones and budget, in collaboration with the Project Management Office and relevant departments.
  • Provide all necessary technical and commercial information to the Project Finance Controller for the selection of marine subcontractors.
  • Oversee the timely importation processes for vessels and cables.
  • Ensure all internal and contractual marine documentation is produced, archived, and distributed in accordance with contract stipulations.
  • Instruct the Permitting department to secure necessary permits as required.
  • Prepare documentation for any Force Majeure claims related to the marine program.
  • Maintain and update the marine risk and opportunity assessment matrix, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Deliver regular updates to the Project Finance Controller regarding marine financial forecasts and project changes.
