We are seeking a proactive and innovative Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Quilter. As a key member of our Security, Property and Facilities function, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our staff, maintaining our buildings as safe spaces, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery and progression of safety performance and monitoring
- Assess training requirements and facilitate relevant training programs
- Ensure that the H&S management systems are kept accurate and updated
- Prepare responses to insurers or solicitors in response to personal injury claims
- Prepare and present update reports for internal governance forums
- Arrange and conduct annual audits and inspections
- Work closely with our TFM company, on-site teams, landlords, and building management companies
We are looking for a candidate with a wealth of experience in a dedicated Health and Safety role, holding a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. You will have extensive knowledge of UK H&S legislation and experience in giving H&S support and guidance on a broad range of risk areas. You will also have strong organisational skills, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to develop and deliver health and safety training.
Desirable Requirements- Fire-related qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, FPA Fire Risk Assessor, Fire Service College FRA)
- Member of IOSH - Chartered (or working towards)
