Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing Manager to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our HSEW team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of our framework project, valued at over £3bn.
You will work closely with our Contract Directors, Safety Lead, Site Managers, and Project Managers to ensure the project meets the business and client Health & Safety standards. Your primary focus will be on promoting best practices surrounding Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing standards, and you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and developing the HSEW team.
As the primary point of contact for the client regarding HSEW requirements, you will regularly consult with the client to build rapport and work together to achieve best practices across the project. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager looking to work regionally with a proven history of working on similar schemes within the Water industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the delivery of the framework project
- Work closely with Contract Directors, Safety Lead, Site Managers, and Project Managers to ensure project meets Health & Safety standards
- Promote best practices surrounding Health, Safety, Environmental & Wellbeing standards
- Lead, support, and develop the HSEW team
- Regularly consult with the client regarding HSEW requirements
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma
- Relevant HND/HNC
- Proven track record working for a similar contractor
