Recruitment Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join HM Treasury as a Recruitment Manager, leading the Government Economic and Social Research (GESR) team's recruitment operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for centralised GES and GSR schemes, ensuring timely and high-quality resources to fill upwards of 500 vacancies a year across 40 departments, agencies, and ALBs.
You will work closely with the Head of GES Resourcing, covering core duties during leave periods and providing support to Recruitment Campaign Managers. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to meet business needs and quality standards.
- Managing GESR recruitment systems, ensuring processes are working effectively for end-users and the recruitment team.
- Supporting the Head of GES Resourcing in core duties and providing guidance to Recruitment Campaign Managers.
- Leading and maintaining detailed recruitment project plans, monitoring performance against critical metrics and agreed standards.
- Developing and mentoring the team of two Recruitment Campaign Managers and one Recruitment Business Support in sharing knowledge and expertise, building capability and confidence.
