Crowder Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, clients, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders to provide expert knowledge and education on health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop, communicate, and review company HSE policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a culture of safety and well-being.
- Manage and maintain various safety management databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide problem-solving expertise, identifying and resolving safety-related issues, and implementing process improvements.
- Contribute to the development of training programs and materials, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
- Create, manage, and review site-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive HSE experience, with a strong background in safety management and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal clients, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance.
- Strong safety training experience, with the ability to develop and deliver training programs.
- Working knowledge of company drug and alcohol policies, with the ability to enforce and monitor compliance.
- Ability to work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance, and to plan and implement process projects in a timely manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform arithmetic calculations and apply basic statistical, algebraic, and geometric concepts.
