Senior Assembly Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Assembly Technician to join our Operations team at Reed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly and Testing: Upgrade and assemble systems to the latest version, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the assembly and upgrading process.
  • Documentation and Quality: Write, update, and maintain essential process documentation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with other departments to measure, record, correct, and prevent technical issues, and maintain detailed records of all assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum A-level education within an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: At least 3 years' experience in electromechanical assembly, test, or repair environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a structured and methodical approach to tasks, with a keen eye for detail.
