Job Title: Events Co-Ordinator

About Us: Get Golfing CIO is a charity that supports struggling English golf facilities to prevent course and club closures.

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to coordinate and oversee our weddings, events, and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the event planning process, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with vendors, entertainers, and other stakeholders to ensure the correct legal documents are received and all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, adhering to venue terms and conditions and client specifications.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues to ensure the smooth execution of events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promptly responding to client inquiries and addressing any concerns or changes throughout the planning process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Remain calm under pressure and think critically to solve problems and ensure event success.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Club House Manager to ensure timely information exchange and adherence to event pricing schedules.

Requirements:

  • A background in events and sales with a proven track record of success, minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • A creative and innovative approach to business development and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering results consistent with revenue and margin targets.
