Get Golfing CIO is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting struggling golf facilities across England, aiming to prevent the closure of courses and clubs. We are currently in search of an enthusiastic and skilled Events Co-Ordinator to manage and oversee a variety of events, including weddings and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage closely with clients to ascertain their needs and preferences.
- Oversee and coordinate all elements of the event planning process.
- Collaborate with suppliers and entertainers to ensure all necessary legal documentation is secured.
- Manage the setup of decorations and the breakdown of event spaces in accordance with venue regulations and client specifications.
- Proactively address challenges and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and accommodating any changes throughout the planning phase.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Maintain composure under pressure and resolve problems swiftly to guarantee the seamless execution of events.
- Work in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Club House Manager to ensure timely communication and adherence to the event pricing schedule.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in event management and sales, demonstrating a successful track record.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- A creative and innovative mindset towards business development and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to achieve results aligned with revenue and margin objectives.
- A commitment to fostering equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.
