About the Role:

The Head of Service SEND will play a key role in shaping the future of SEND services in Southwark, working closely with the Assistant Director SEND to develop and implement innovative practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the casework teams, assessment team, and administration function of the service.
  • Oversee tribunals, complaints, and Members Enquiries for the SEND Team.
  • Take operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of the SEND Team.
  • Lead partnership working with schools, colleges, parents, and health partners in Southwark.
