We are seeking an experienced SEND Team Manager to join our team at Futures. As a SEND Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Senior Case Officers, Case Officers, and Business Support Officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve high-quality outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Oversee the management of EHCP updates, finalized EHCPs, and Panel packs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement large-scale projects within the team, such as phase transfers for ages 4-14.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a SEND Team Manager in a Local Authority or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
