About the Role

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our Facilities team at St Cadoc's Hospital in Newport.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, maintaining records and handling first-line enquiries. They will also be responsible for prioritizing their workload and ensuring targets are met.

Main Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to the team
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Handling first-line enquiries and responding accordingly
  • Working flexibly to ensure the smooth running of the service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English Language
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems
  • Advanced keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
