Job Title: Asset Planning Officer

We are seeking a skilled Asset Planning Officer to join our team in the Yorkshire region. As a key member of our infrastructure planning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planning and scheduling services to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for infrastructure projects
  • Support project teams with planning-related responsibilities, including reporting and progress meetings
  • Identify and maintain programme/project milestone and schedule interface activities
Key Challenges:
  • Support the planning and scheduling processes required to manage contracts and contractor schedules
  • Support programme progress and reporting requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate schedule interface requirements
  • Adhere to NEC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissions
  • Maintain awareness of commitments and undertakings and support efforts to manage requirements to avoid breach
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a construction-related subject preferred
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple discipline-specific software applications, such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management
