In-depth understanding of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security
Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in technical support or a similar capacity, particularly with Azure cloud services
Strong analytical skills and capability to perform under pressure
Effective communication abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal skills for productive client engagement
Ability to collaborate within a team and adapt to changing technologies
Self-driven and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach
Core Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Management
Administer and monitor Azure cloud environments, ensuring peak performance and security
Deploy and set up virtual machines, storage, and networking elements in Azure
Optimize Azure resources for scalability and efficiency
Utilize Azure Active Directory and Office 365 Admin Portal for user and group administration
Familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive for business
Engage with Microsoft ADR and MABS systems
Work with Exchange 365
- Infrastructure Oversight
Configure and oversee Intune for device management
Administer WatchGuard WiFi access points and Firewalls
Manage Aurba HP VLAN configurations
Collaborate with the IT Manager to facilitate system upgrades and implementations
- Networking and Security Management
Understanding of routers and switches
Knowledge of Firewalls and Gateways
Implement and manage VPN solutions, SSL, and IKEv2
Administer shared drives via NTFS permissions
- Monitoring and Reporting
Utilize Engine Endpoint Central for unified management
- End-User Support
Assist with escalated support requests from team members
Configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Server Room Management
Setup and configuration of APC UPS systems
Configuration and upgrading of Dell server hardware
- Access Control Systems
General Duties:
Contribute to ongoing improvements within the organization
Report to executive management on the health status and risks associated with the function
Stay informed about industry trends, movements, requirements, and innovations to identify opportunities for enhancing the functional offering
Foster and maintain a positive internal culture and reputation of the function and the broader organization
Actively participate in knowledge capture and sharing initiatives
