Amber Mace is collaborating with a reputable care provider to establish a new nursing facility in the vicinity of Southampton. This medium-sized nursing home will cater to elderly residents, including those with dementia and other age-related conditions.

Amber Mace is actively seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and compassionate individual to fill the position of Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN) at a new nursing home near Southampton.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a new facility while ensuring top-notch care for the residents.


Our client operates multiple homes and services across Hampshire and is highly regarded within their local communities.

In this role, you will be responsible for caring for elderly individuals, some of whom may be dealing with age-related conditions.

This is a new service, and you will assist the Home Manager with all clinical responsibilities, including team training and development, conducting clinical audits, and ensuring compliance with clinical governance.


Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Lead:

  • As a leader for nursing staff, your primary duty will be to guarantee that residents receive the highest standard of care.
  • You will promote independence and dignity while enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.
  • You will drive quality standards and ensure compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Create a welcoming and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate closely with the Home Manager and assume daily management responsibilities.

Qualifications for Success:

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid UK NMC PIN (RGN or RMN).
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar care setting.
  • Experience working with elderly and dementia patients.
  • A solid understanding of current CQC regulations.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
