About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Assistant in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to our Emergency Practitioners in managing the day-to-day injuries presenting to the Minor Injury Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients in the Minor Injuries Unit
  • Work alongside our Nurse and Paramedic Practitioners to ensure excellent clinical care is delivered to all patients
  • Develop your own clinical experience and competence
  • Welcoming patients, triage assessment, use of Clinical computer systems, booking outpatient appointments, wound care, dressings, plastering
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent previous experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Committed to personal growth
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • Basic Nursing skills
  • Basic IT literacy
