Clinical Support Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Assistant in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to our Emergency Practitioners in managing day-to-day injuries presenting to the Minor Injury Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and conducting triage assessments
- Working alongside our Nurse and Paramedic Practitioners to ensure excellent clinical care is delivered to all patients
- Developing your own clinical experience and competence
- Assisting with wound care, dressings, and plastering
Requirements
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent previous experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy, basic nursing skills, and basic IT literacy
