We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerical Officer in our busy Medical Ward at Lorn & Islands Hospital. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our ward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to our medical team, including preparing patient records, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate databases.
- Ensuring the efficient operation of our ward, including coordinating patient flow, managing supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with our patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care and experience.
- Staying up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality of care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
