Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management within the Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Service Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our imaging services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Lead a team of imaging professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and other hospital departments.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained in all aspects of imaging services, including patient care, equipment maintenance, and radiation safety.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of our imaging services.
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Radiography, Registered with the HCPC.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge and Experience: Good understanding of IRMER requirements, knowledge of PACS/CRIS systems, and experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
