About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Autism Practitioner/Teaching Assistant to join our team at Baston House School in Bromley. As part of our continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher/tutor in delivering a high-quality education to students with autism.
  • Implement education policies and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Provide individualized support to students to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible.
  • Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students in line with company policies.
  • Ensure the efficient use and maintenance of equipment and resources, reporting any issues to the relevant staff.
  • Support the class teacher/tutor in organizing the classroom and its resources to provide a stimulating learning environment.
  • Assist in writing, updating, and implementing documentation related to individual students, including Behaviour Support Profiles and Individual Education Plans.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths qualifications.
