About the Role

We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Casual Children's Residential Practitioners. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care and support.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the well-being and development of children and young people.
Requirements
  • NQF Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, such as difficulties in regulating their emotions and behaviors due to past experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues, children, and young people.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as required.
