We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a Lecturer (Small Group Facilitator) at the University of Exeter.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and facilitation to undergraduate students on the BMBS programme.
- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including one-to-one meetings and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum content, ensuring alignment with University goals and standards.
- Contribute to the development of assessment and evaluation strategies to measure student learning and program effectiveness.
- Medically qualified with GMC registration (GP register or specialist register).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
- Proven experience in teaching, facilitation, and curriculum development, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the program and students.
