Financial Operations Supervisor

This position is accountable for assisting in the management of the organization's financial documentation and reporting obligations, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, corporate policies, and ethical standards.

Oversee general ledger functions for designated entities, which includes managing banking operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions.

Prepare and document journal entries related to accruals, payroll accounting and reconciliation, holiday accruals, prepayments, and both internal and external commissions.

Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, in accordance with corporate protocols and timelines.
Maintain precise records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
Interpret and adhere to financial reporting standards, rules, and regulations.
Evaluate financial statements and generate reports for senior management.
Collaborate with both local and international subsidiaries to address accounting challenges.
Review and update billing data in financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in addressing audit inquiries.
Support the Finance Manager, Accountant Lead, and other team members as necessary.

Fluency in both written and spoken English; proficiency in an additional European language, especially German, is a plus.
Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting software, such as SAP and Blackline.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Outlook.

Required: 3-6 years of experience in finance-related roles.

Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP; Qualified AAT (or a degree in accounting, business, finance) and/or Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
