We are seeking a talented Lead Host/Hostess to become a vital part of our team at SMYTH & CO LUXURY CONSULTANTS LTD. This role is essential for ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a sophisticated dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the front-of-house operations in a casual fine dining setting featuring Modern British cuisine.
- Collaborate with top-tier suppliers to ensure the use of premium ingredients, including dry-aged beef and sustainably sourced produce.
- Foster a trendy and inviting atmosphere while working on an exciting project led by a renowned chef.
- Manage a competitive salary package ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule consisting of 2 double shifts and 3 single shifts per week.
The ideal candidate for the Lead Host/Hostess position will possess a genuine passion for hospitality and a strong background in fine dining establishments, Michelin-starred venues, or exclusive private clubs. High service standards are paramount, and candidates should demonstrate:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- A vibrant personality with proficiency in reservation systems such as SevenRooms and Opentable.
- The ability to represent the restaurant professionally while managing guest requests, including PDRs and VIP experiences.
- Leadership capabilities to guide junior staff and collaborate closely with the General Manager.
