About Us

LYPFT is currently negotiating a revised starting salary for newly appointed consultants, which will be implemented soon. This position will fall under the new consultant salary framework once finalized.

This role comprises 5 PA plus a 1% category B availability for out-of-hours on-call responsibilities.

Job Overview
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with another full-time Consultant psychiatrist to oversee 16 General Adolescent beds, alongside a 6-bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) managed by a separate full-time consultant. They will receive support from two full-time specialty doctors and psychiatric trainees. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a premier service.
