About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team at Recreo Global. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, training, and maintaining our cutting-edge technical solutions for the food industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Setup: Install and set up our product range, including X-ray, Intelligent Slicing, Industrial Washing, Metal Detection, Weighing, and Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/Embedded Controllers and Servo Systems.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to client maintenance personnel, complete on-site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and test/calibrate equipment to ensure compliance with production and regulatory bodies.
  • Field Service and Troubleshooting: Complete proactive courtesy calls to customers, perform remote customer servicing, equipment repair, and troubleshooting over the phone, and conduct in-house product testing and demos.
  • Commissioning and Support: Assist in the commissioning of finished products by wiring motors, e-stops, isolators, control panels, etc., and provide support to the Production team as needed.
Requirements
  • Electrical or Instrumentation Background: Electrical or Instrumentation abilities with relevant experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in the installation, training, calibration, repair, and maintenance of highly technical advanced equipment.
  • Field Service Experience: Field Service and/or troubleshooting experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of computers and most common software packages, with MS SQL an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to produce technical presentations and deliver training effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work, location, and hours.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and a passion for building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel to visit customers, with approximately 60-80% travel as part of the role.
Package

We offer a competitive salary of c£40-45,000 (dependent upon experience), overtime at 1.5x, a company car, and a pension contribution (TBC).
